WordPressを使って社会の課題解決を目指す

環境問題や貧困、教育問題など今の日本には解決すべき社会課題がたくさんあり、関心を持っている人も増えています。震災時におけるWordPressの活用、NPO法人におけるWordPressの活用。そしてなぜWordPressなのかという理由。また、学校や会社へ行くことができない方たちへWordPressを教えて、社会復帰の足がかりとする活動について。WordPressで社会を変えるというと大げさかもしれませんが、WordPressを使った社会活動についてお話しすることによって、誰かの「やりたい」の背中を押せたらいいなと思っています。

Based on the small island of Ogijima in Japan's Seto Inland Sea, I work at the intersection of open source, community building, culture, and technology. Within WordPress, I'm a Program Manager for the Community Team, a Locale Manager for the Japanese locale, and the Lead Organizer of WordCamp Asia 2027. I also chair Ogijima Library, a community space and cultural organization.
