James Hall is an Associate Professor at Iwate University and works in teacher education. He has been using WordPress off and on for 8 years for student-teacher class blogs. Recently, he has started to use WordPress as a tool for student-teachers to give and receive feedback on lessons. At WordCamp, he will teach a demonstration lesson and receive feedback from the audience on the site. He wants to customize WordPress in such a way that student-teachers, professors, and school teachers can use it easily with minimal training and see the benefits.
ジェームズ ホールは岩手大学の准教授。専門分野は教師教育。ジェームズは、8年間、ワードプレスを学生のブログのプラットフォームとして使ってきた。この２年間、ワードプレスを授業研究のツールとしても使っている。これを通して、授業を行っている学生が授業のフィードバックが貰えて、授業の参観者が、自分の視点、助言、洞察を授業者に伝えられる。ジェームズの今後の目的が、教育に関係している誰でも使えるような授業研究サイトを開発すること。
